I'm enjoying the updates to your cobra and following along.

I am just installing the same hanger modification to the side pipes even though I have not go karted yet. I purchased that same amazon hanger with the steel wrap incorporated into the rubber, but it was very large. Just take that into account before you purchase it. The smaller one you have pictured looks to be about 3" long. I have opened and closed the eyelets on the turnbuckles for direct connections in order to reduce the over all length of the linkage. I'm not quite done yet but I'll try get pictures next time I'm at the shop.
