Repeated ignition failures

I have a Spyder GT (Gen 1 coupe without a roof) 408W. I'm using an A9L ECM and an aftermarket Malory EEC4 ignition system. I'm on my 5th ignition module in just over 7K miles. I think it's temperature related as it seems to occur on warm days during spirited driving sessions. Has anyone experienced this? How did you resolve the issue? I'm thinking of ducting outside air onto the distributor but the front end is very low and I can't find a good spot for an inlet...
