  1. My Mk 4 Build Blog.

Hello and welcome to my build blog!

    My goal:

This is just a picture I found on the internet. It is however very close to the color scheme I want.

I really dont like the way blogs reverse order your posts for a build log. It should read from oldest to newest in my opinion so I've been making up backdates to get it in the order I want.

I suggest you use these links ...

  2. It was still hot in September 2007 when I ventured to my first car show

It was the Whitby's & FFR train to the Autofair in Charlotte. We met at Hooters early in the morning and then caravaned over to the speedway. My dad and I met some great people and saw way to many cars. If you ever get the chance to go, the Autofair is outrageous in it's scale and scope.

  3. A few thoughts.

Well, I got sidetracked (again) during summer and not much got done on the car.
This time it was mostly money related....I went on vacation and had some legal papers drawn up that cut into the budget...also, it was just too damn hot and I was out catching baseball games and whatnot.

Thats about to change as I gear up for cooler weather. Ordered my front tires today (Kumho 275/40s) and plan on buying the parts needed to finish the front suspension and a guage package..and maybe ...

  4. It was hot in August 2007 when we went back to the Dragon.

The people you meet going to the Dragon are awesome. They were good natured on this trip even though we almost melted. We stood across the road in the shade and talked a little and then went back up the Dragon for some hamburgers and fries at the top together.

  5. DOHC Coupe build

What I would like to do is put together a "build blog" by slowly putting in topics, along with pics and commentary that shows the process I took along the way. And then organize this in a logical and numbered build sequence, hopefully answering some common build questions. I think these types of blogs could be a great way for members to build this site with useful build info and personal modification ideas.
The "DOHC COUPE BUILD" would be my opening title page.
