It was the Whitby's & FFR train to the Autofair in Charlotte. We met at Hooters early in the morning and then caravaned over to the speedway. My dad and I met some great people and saw way to many cars. If you ever get the chance to go, the Autofair is outrageous in it's scale and scope. Well, I got sidetracked (again) during summer and not much got done on the car. This time it was mostly money related....I went on vacation and had some legal papers drawn up that cut into the budget...also, it was just too damn hot and I was out catching baseball games and whatnot. Thats about to change as I gear up for cooler weather. Ordered my front tires today (Kumho 275/40s) and plan on buying the parts needed to finish the front suspension and a guage package..and maybe ...

The people you meet going to the Dragon are awesome. They were good natured on this trip even though we almost melted. We stood across the road in the shade and talked a little and then went back up the Dragon for some hamburgers and fries at the top together. What I would like to do is put together a "build blog" by slowly putting in topics, along with pics and commentary that shows the process I took along the way. And then organize this in a logical and numbered build sequence, hopefully answering some common build questions. I think these types of blogs could be a great way for members to build this site with useful build info and personal modification ideas. The "DOHC COUPE BUILD" would be my opening title page. ...
