Jim - Did you say $250? Don't be surprised when the Police show up at your place for that steal! I'd be interested in knowing if it is the Triple Coat (Copper-Nickel-Chrome) Process. What is your plan for the Roadster Window frame? I tried several polishes and the one that I have found to work the best is Meguiar's Motorcycle Metal Polish - extremely happy with the application and sheen, I use it on chrome & aluminum.
Build looks great, take care!

Starting to look like a proper hot rod (even with a bow tie motor... lol)! Keep up the good work.
Respectfully,

Seeing Mrs. Hod Rd Jim shoving a towel under the bottom of the door to raise it up made me think of this inflatable shim.

Wondering if they could be used to help with the door fitment process...

I stopped wrestling doors years ago, and purchased something similar to this (paid a lot more back then). Dealing with heavy mustang and challenger doors this was a Godsend. Plan on using it on my 33 Hot Rood too.

Just watched your newest You Tube video on your doors and I noticed, and you may know this, but your front tires are on the wrong sides. Directional tires. I feel bad for you and your body fitment issues especially trying to get help these days. I think it makes us all appreciate body shop techs. Carry on, you'll get through it and appreciate the work you've had to go through when you're driving it down the road with that big grin on your face!

In your last video you said you were getting help to get the fitment of the doors correct. I was having a problem with the drivers side getting a even gap between the front and rear of the door. What was happening was the door latch inside was hitting the hex head of the door latch. A few inquiries later I found that isn't an unusual problem. The solution from FFR tech was to grind off the hex head of the bolt.

That took care of the problem. I didn't need to do it on the passenger side but did it anyway to be constant.
Just some info and maybe advise. Cliff

Finishing my paint can shelf and adding a 60 gallon air compressor.
33 Hot Rod V2 Coupe, Extra Clearance Hood, Bike Fenders, Rear Exhaust, LS Engine
Hi Jim,
Nice air compressor. I recently installed a 60 gal compressor in my barn and have used it for some sand blasting.
I installed a filter and moisture trap at the air compressor and found that after running the sand blaster for a while that I still had moisture accumulating at the nozzle of the sand blaster.
I added a Milton Mini-Inline filter https://www.amazon.com/Milton-S-1173...1310547&sr=8-1.
Living in humid Michigan, I found I had to replace the dissicant fairly often. My twin cylinder 60 gal compressor heats up which helps generate moisture.
Your multi stage compressor and dry Arizona climate should help reduce you use of dissicant.
It is so nice not to have to wait for the compressor to catch up anymore.
Thanks,
Andy

What software did you use for designing that panel?
Question for you Jim
I noticed you changed out your upper control arms on your 4-Link suspension that FFR supplied with adjustable upper control arms....where did you source those through?
Thanks, Jim
