Grill install problem

I have encountered a problem mounting the grill; when installed as per the manual (logos facing out) the grill mounts are too far apart--approximately 1 1/2" wider than the inside mounting position of the grill. Has anybody else had this problem and how did you fix it?

Yes, they bend inward a bit. You'll need to adjust them to come in at about an 85 degree angle as opposed to the 90 degree bend they come with. As you can see the sides of the grill are not at a 90 from the front of the car so you just need to match that up with the bracket.
