    Mark IV wins Platnium

Last week took the Mark IV to the Celebration Exotic Car Show and won a Platinum award. Had to submit photos to get her into the show, and then was up against 10 plus Back Drafts. Got great feedback, including from the judges, on the fit and finish and the Coyote Power Plant. The story of building it with my son seemed to be a crowd pleaser, lots of questions from people that have building a Factory Five on their bucket list.

Here are a few images from before the show and one with the trophy. I did not take many photos at the show. Amazing show, there was a $30M Ferrari, loads of exotics, but this little Factory Five always had a crowd around it.

Congrats! That's about 20 mins from my house. I used to go to it all the time before I sold my last build. You have to be careful down there as some families like to a little too intimate with the cars.

Well done! Color and chrome really work together well. Car presents just the right balance of everything. Easy to see how it did so well.

You know we are going to need some pics of the engine.
My engine is a Gen 1 Coyote, also.

Thank you Railroad. My engine bay is not the masterpiece that some of the guys on this forum have built, but it is functional and the 2000F DEI sheild and Lizard Skin keeps my feet cooler from the engine and Florida heat. Regardless the Coyote just looks awesome in these cars, IMHO.

    Thank you Jeff,

It is safe to say that I searched many many posts from you, EdwardB, GoDadGo, and others during the long build process, which helped me to build it. The input from you guys is invaluable.

Tough Color to get, wanted to stay ALL FORD, it is a modern Ford GT color: Ford Liquid Grey Pearl.

Definitely better in person and under different shades of light.
