    Looking for a differential for 2015 MK!V

Not a newbie but have been off the forum for a number of years. Just startling my second build, an MKIV which the owner purchased in 2015 but never started, none of the boxes were even opened. This build includes the IRS option and requires a 1992 to 1997 Thunderbird V-8 differential that I will have to source. The newer, more recent MKIV’s with IRS require a 2015 or later Mustang differential but that won’t work for this car. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find this older differential. Have contacted a few salvage yards but no luck so far. That vintage is probably getting to be pretty old. Thanks for any help.

The same vintage Lincoln Mark VIII will work too.

I'd give Mike Forte a call & see if he's got / can get one for you. Even if he doesn't have one, the conversation will be worth the time!

    John,
Thanks for your help with sourcing a differential for my MKIV. Mike Forte was great, he dug around his place and found just what I needed. It was a pleasure working with him.

Blitzboy54, thanks for the response to my message, looking for a differential. Your recommendation was my Plan B but Mike Forte took care of me.

In case anyone else is looking, I still have this one for sale and would likely let it go for less than the listed price. I don't want to give it away but wouldn't mind seeing it go.

Forte is just fantastic isn't he? I once had a great 10 minute conversation w/ him and got Qs answered. I asked if he wanted to take the order over the phone or maybe prefer I just do it through the website. He says normally I'd be glad to take the order but actually I left a little early today. While we have been talking, I have been in the store picking up a cake for my daughter's birthday party. I stumbled around for a few seconds not knowing what to say. Finally I said something like I'm sorry to have tied you up, I will order on the web. Thank you very, very much for your time.
    What a guy.
