    Gas-n Side Pipes Instructions?

    https://www.gas-n.com/collections/side-pipes

I'm finally getting around to mocking up the side pipes, but there are no directions in the box - maybe it's just me, but I seem to be 50/50 on receiving instructions with any parts I buy!

any directions? there's quite a mix of bolts, nuts, washers, etc.
also, the header bolts, are just that - just bolts, no nuts - assuming this is where folks are buying the brass nuts to mitigate stainless galling and no rust?
I have the FFR catted headers for the coyote, no threads in the headers

Hey Todd. There's a section on their website with instructions:

    https://www.gas-n.com/pages/installtion-tips-and-guide

I've also found that Georgie is very responsive and happy to help. Give him a call if there's something that's not clear.

Btw, throw away the nylock nuts if they sent them with the bag. Mine melted in the first start. I picked up some Grade 8 nuts, bolts, washers and lock washers.

ah! I should have scrolled down! the video took up the whole page and seemed like just an inventory of the product
still puzzled as to these nuts/bolts... they don't seem to match the install/inventory, different thickness washers too

you have 8 of those socket head bolts. I assume those are what you connect your side pipes to your headers. the 4 shorter socket head bolts likely connect that small bracket to the side pipe. I'm assuming the hanger arms are connected similar to the FFR arms. The longest bolts are probably used to connect the hanger to the 2" frame under the floor. rubber isolaters between the frame and arms. the brackets look slotted to allow for adjustment between the hanger arms and pipe.

just a guess since i've not seen the gas-n pipes before...

any why do you need nuts for the header bolts? they directly bolt the header to the heads. no nuts needed.

If you're referring to the bag marked header bolts, wouldn't those be for your headers to your block? no nuts needed and it looks like you have 16.

ah ok makes sense, not sure why header bolts would be included - extra parts always drive me nutz, I'm always looking for what they're supposed to go to, in this case, they're not needed

seems like a lot of $$ wasted though...

16 header bolts - not needed

6 bolts with matching washers, and 2 bolts with thicker washers (hard to see in the photo)
not understanding the washer size difference or was it a mistake?

I’m assuming the thicker washers are on accident. Start counting your holes and figure out what bolts fit in what holes. Guessing all 8 of those socket heads bolts are for the header to pipe connection

He also sells headers, so probably just accidentally included those with your order.
