Looks like Gen1 frames didn't have the dual holes like the Gen2 frames do. That's too bad. You could do what Kamp did and weld in an extension on the axle bracket.
Your coils are really cranked up aren't they? I would start with two things:
1) Add a 2nd bump stop to your shocks. The purpose of the bump stop(s) is to prevent bottoming out, cranking the coil spring up just stiffens the ride, doesn't guarantee eliminating bottoming out.
2) Either switch to the QA1 shocks / coils we discussed above in this string or try 10" 300# springs on your koni shocks
