I would highly suggest that you install the waterfall and see if, where you drilled your holes, you can access it once the waterfall and the seats are installed without making a big hole in the waterfall for the pin installation. The pin needs to go in after the waterfall and roll bar is installed.

Build it your way and don’t apologize. In the end you’re gonna have an awesome ride! Thanks for this build thread and videos. In my planning, that’s where I thought I’ll be price wise.
Respectfully,

What money was that?
Curious, who has been supposedly giving you scare tactics in the options you chose - 3 link, 4 link, .... I've been following your build threads here and on FFCARS and I haven't seen anyone doing that.So where it's coming from?

Hi Jim, When I decided to get a kit (still months away) I found your Youtube videos, quite by accident, I spent the better part of a week watch your build and can't wait for more. I found them very insightful. I plan on putting an LS3 GM E-rod engine in my with a TKO600. Nothing wrong with automatics, I had a 65 Mustang fastback 4 speed in my youth and I want to relive the moments lets say. I just hope my left knee will hold up. I've contemplated this for years and now I'm in a position to finally do it. Good luck with your build! I'll be watching. Bruce from Massachusetts
So Jim, just curious...how did you get Stewart Transport to highlight your delivery of your 33 HOT Rod in their youtube video (also on FFR's site)?
Kind of cool

I've built numerous cars (including 6 FFR cars) over my years starting in High School. Tried to budget most of them but usually gave up keeping tract about halfway through the build when I realized there was no hope meeting the original budget. Still enjoyed all the builds and basically now, if I can afford it and meets my goals, I just do it and don't worry about meeting any financial goal. Just want to meet my mental goal of what the build should be.

I've learned from this thread that it costs more to build a car in AZ, and it's now clear to me, it's about twice as much if you live in Northern AZ.
My wife says all my projects take twice as long and cost double what I think it should. She's usually right.

I did a lot of research on the subject for me to make my own decisions on what to get and when I read all the responses to other builders like me that posed the question, 95% were all has to be three link no matter what the application of the person asking the question was going to use the car for. This was across the these and other blogs across the internet.

I am happy to say that as of this moment, I am really coming in on budget due to the scrutiny I have put into this spreadsheet. The only thing it cost me was spending hours sitting in front of a screen losing my eye sight and getting fat.I forgot to factor that in on the spreadsheet! LOL

Jim, what e-brake actuator are you using? I have only seen the E-stopp and it appears to be longer than what you are installing.
Thanks, Gary

Jim, On several other build thread I have seen others having the same problem. One guy, don't remember who, cut the lower panel vertically a couple feet back from the front and fit the front to the radiator frame and then glassed them back together at the cut. I also noticed that the lower panel is now 2 separate pieces from side to side. Previously they were one piece which made it kind of difficult to handle and fit.
