Actually the same is entirely true with the GTM. People worry about increasing the angle that the axles are at, but having the axles at an angle actually allows the driveline to live longer. This is because the balls in the CVs work a much larger surface area if they are working with axles that are at an angle as opposed to straight out.
Max angle for a large body 930 series CV is roughly 22 degrees, so unless you are building a "sand GTM"(ala flotowngtm
), you will not get the CVs to their critical angle in a GTM.
