Looks Like You're Sending The Car To The Right Jeff, Also Known As Sir Jeffski To Me!
Today I stood in front of my shelves that have held all those boxes that the kit ships in. Most of the boxes had a couple of odds and ends in them that either needed to get packed to ship with the car to Jeff or consolidated into a couple of boxes of what will go onto my parts sale post. Finally, there are just a few items that I'll finish up with once the car is back in my garage later this summer.
Here is what my trunk looks like after today's work:
I'm sending all the roll bar grommets, windshield trim plates, hood scoop, bumpers, weather strip, etc. with the car.

Congratulations on getting to the head of the line. You must be pretty stoked to arrive at this stage. Jeff does awesome work!
I like your color choices too. I have always liked the various blue colors with white stripes on these cars. It just has that classic look that we all think of when we think about the Cobra.
I know it's going to be hard to wait all summer without her in the garage! It's pretty cool that it will be back to you before the driving season is over though.

Have to say, been fun reading through this build thread. Glad to see you almost have it done. And now, I need to get back to work before I get myself fired lol! Can't wait to see the car painted.
That’s so cool Dave!!!! I’ve followed your build from the beginning. Now your down to the wire!!!! Can’t wait to see updates as it goes. You can’t go wrong with either of the two Jeff’s. I’ve seen both their work (Huntington beach shows) and it’s unmatched. I’ll be using the west coast one, 3 hour drive, if I ever get to that point before he retires or dies lol You have to be so excited!!

Yeah, it was weird not seeing it in the garage this weekend. I asked Jeff to send pictures as he gets to significant stages so that I can update my build thread as he works his magic.
Man Dave, that's like watching your kid leave for college. I'm sure Jeff will ensure it graduates with honors!
Bummer about your headers. I know you'll get them fixed up, but what a pain in the rear to have to take them back off again. I know, I installed headers many times on mine.

Yeah no doubt. The guy wouldn't even put me at the head of the line to get them corrected, which is why I may be looking for a new jobber, but I've already paid, so have to go back.

I did Jay's car last year but we still talk regularly...as is the case with many of the guys who started out as customers but became friends Jay's car got the same pearl for the stripe as we plan for yours:

That's a beautiful car! Jeff actually sent me a picture of yours, a blue one, and a green one with the pearl white stripes. I was sold as soon as I saw those pictures. I'll be doing the two wide with pin stripes in the pearl white (top & bottom of the hood & trunk) over Sprectra Blue. Yep -- another one. It's what I wanted from the start, and what I envision when I think of a Cobra. Every time I started trying to go down a different road, I kept coming back to what my heart was really wanting.
I might get to stop by Jeff's shop next week and see your car... or not... But I will be in Bloomington IN next week on the Hot Rod Power Tour with mine.

Hey Carl. Don't be distracting Jeff. He is a busy man and needs to stay focused on my c..... his work!
I also decided that filing the threads from the threaded rod to create my glove box catch looked horrible, so I tried another approach. I bought blank rod and threaded the ends. Looks much better.
Installed in the dash:
I thought about trying to get the angle to be more level, but the latch/catch work perfectly, so I'm going to leave it alone.
Looks good. What type of tool do you need to thread the ends on blank rod?
