    Thanks, it is the black peddle that came in the FFR kit. I pealed off the grip tape and sanded the paint off on my belt sander. I drilled 10 pilot holes with a 3/16" bit to get the pattern I wanted to look similar to the willow peddles. Those holes don't go all the way through because some of them would hit the brackets. I then used a countersink pit to expand the holes.

I am planning to order a MK IV Roadster in the next year. I have never built a car before but have the time now that the kids are grown. I've been reading/addicted to the forum because the threads have been answering many questions and making a project like this seem reasonable.
