I passed 30000 miles on the roadster today.

The milestone happened on my drive to work. Then it rained and then it thunderstormed and then something unexpected happened. I made a video of the happening :)

July 4th 2010 - Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smokey Mountains, Dragon

by Bobasaurus on 03-03-2011 at 11:18 PM
It was a great 3 day getaway for Becky and I. We stayed as guests at Harrahs' Cherokee. We drove the FFR, gambled a little, and ate like royalty. It was awesome.

A little video to show the roadster in action on our climb out of Cherokee on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Winter 2010 last part

I also had to move my mass air meter so I went all out and fabbed up a cold air intake in the fenderwell. I am getting my air from the brake vent and from in front of the front wheel down low. I added a 90mm lightning mass air meter during the upgrade as well.

Well after the supercharger and intake were painted the poor alternator stuck out like a sore thumb so I disassembled it, painted it, and replaced the bearing just for good measure.

My explorer intake was looking a little rough so I bought some Summit brand single stage urethane paint and set out to make my top end shiny. The color is a dark metallic silver. It shows off well in the sunshine.
