Hi Dave, I'm a relatively new member here and have recently made a couple of posts with photos. In both cases, when they posted they ended up rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise. Apologies if you've answered this before but I've searched the forum and can't figure out why. In one case the photos were posted directly from my computer, and in the other case they came from my cloud storage (OneDrive). Thanks, Pat

Hello David - I'm trying to register for the forum. The site said it sent me a confirmation email but it never showed up. Checked every folder. The site won't let me post until this confirmation email is clicked on... Please help! All the best,

Hello David, My name is Nate and I thought I posted on the new comers page, but I haven't found it. Did I miss something, or just didn't press enter on the post.
    Thanks, Nate

David, you can delete my post "Frustrated with FFR" if you wish. I handled this issue poorly and do not want any further negativity towards FFR. I'm confident they they are working to resolve the issue. Thanks.

Hello, i apparently don't have the ability to post my MK4 ffr roadster for sale on the forums. I was recommended to do so on the factory five builder facebook group.

I'm revisiting my mkIII build. I went to the build school about 8 years ago and forgot everything. I'm going to start by going through everything I have done so far to couple check correctness, torques etc. I can't seem to find anything on this site more dedicated to the Mk3 builds like there was in the past. In particular right now, I'm trying to find stuff on the brakes, brake pedal mounting location (for additional leverage) or adding power assist, the type of master cylinder (I've got the weird one with the dedicated outlet for the front left brake) etc etc etc. How do I go about finding this info?

1966 Mustang GT Restomod first drive!

by David Hodgkins on 03-24-2013 at 10:51 PM
My son's first car is really coming together! As a bit of back story, I picked up this car from a friend who had completed a complete drive train replacement involving a new 302, T5, Torsen rear end and '99 cobra brakes. I had to complete the wiring, enlarge the front wheel wells, install the drive-shaft and sub-frame connectors, finish the hardline/brake hose install, install the exhaust and gut/replace the interior. We've been making great progress (with the help of this forum) and today we drove

Picking up a new project: 1966 Mustang GT Coupe Restomod!

by David Hodgkins on 07-17-2012 at 06:43 PM
I'm buying a 1966 GT Coupe from a college buddy of mine. It has a new roller 302 engine with edelbrock heads and intake with a Holley street avenger Carb. The front suspension is new with Total control Products UCA and Global West LCA and sub fram connectors, Vintage 48 wheels and Nitto tires, an 8" rear with 3.55 gears and rare (I'm told) Torsen Differential. The body is straight with a little rust in front of the door and a small rust spot over 1 rear wheel. The front sub frame was stripped

IMPORTANT Spam and Blogs announcement. PLEASE READ (11/10/2011)

by David Hodgkins on 11-10-2011 at 12:16 PM
Greetings everyone,

We have been experiencing daily blog spam attacks, and today when I cleared them out the recent blog posts widget on the front page refused to update.

For now I have made it a requirement that all blog posts go through a moderation (accept) step that is similar to the one experienced by new members, except that every entry has to go through this step, not just the ones with links, etc.

We will also be patching the install today to

In Uterto!

by David Hodgkins on 03-14-2011 at 01:33 PM
I was fortunate enough to have a high-ranking spy within FFR snap some pics of what should be frame # 2 of the anniversary (anni) series roadsters. This kit is scheduled to be loaded up sometime this week for the trip out west to California to my brother Phil's home in Encino.

First up is a few pics of the building bay where two anni roadsters are having their aluminum pieces put on along side two GTMs. The obvious note here is the cool silver powdercoating. This is the first major

T-Minus 1 week until the birth of a new anniversary roadster!

by David Hodgkins on 03-08-2011 at 02:08 PM
My brother Phil, who like me has allways had the Cobra bug, jumped on the chance to get one of the new anniversary Roadsters. It's t-minus one week until it's done! It is scheduled to be completed on Tuesday, 3/15 and will be picked up by Stewart Transport shortly thereafter for the trip to California.

Not many options on the list because the kit is so complete! The current plan is to stuff a TKO 600 - backed FMS BOSS 427 under the hood. Oof. It should be a screamer!
