    Jd, for your own sanity, put your tape measure back into your toolbox! Your eye will tell you more than random measurements on inaccurate parts. As long as your finished product looks good, you’re the only one who will know that it isn’t perfect. Looking at mine with the bits and pieces removed, I can find non symmetry all over the car but I’m sure it will pass my own standards. Hand built cars are mostly imperfect. Just don’t drill any holes until you’re sure.
