In the March 2008 we went to Chimney Rock, NC then to Cherokee, NC via the Parkway

It was a fantastic trip except for the rain. Oh did it rain on us!
[B]It rained on the parkway so we broke out the orange ponchos from Disney World![/B]

[B]Then it stopped raining and just became crazy foggy.[/B]

[B]We had all the essentials in the cockpit with us. A TOMTOM, blanket, parkway map, peanut butter & cheese crackers, Raisinettes, rain water, a towel for the inside of the windshield, and a camera. The TOMTOM later died on another rainy trip. I like it better than the Garmin we have now.[/B]

[B]I did mention it was a fantastic trip didn't I? We were in a great mood and Becky smiled the entire rainy trip. We even won a couple of hundred dollars at the casino. Becky was the assigned snack fetcher![/B]
