    I have been working on my MK4 for several years now and finally have the body in for paint.

    In my build I have installed the Russ Thompson Turn signal system and have wired with what I think is the most typical using the Bosch and VW relay.

    When originally installed, everything worked great. The momentary switched cycled thru and everything worked as it should. About a year after installed, the momentary switch started to fail as it was not cycling thru as it should. ...

  2. Wiring Diagram - MSD 2910 EFI & Ron Francis Harness

    Greetings,

    I am in the process of wiring my roadster and will be using a MSD 2910 EFI system and the Ron Francis Harness. The directions in the Factory Five Wiring manual are very vague.   3. Cobra irs axle girdle cover - ford racing

    Hello All -- I have recently received my FF MK4 on April 14th and am making some headway. I have seen some info on the forum with regards to fitting the Cobra IRS Axle Girdle Cover by Ford Racing. I have an 8.8 differential from a Lincoln MK VIII, installed a Eaton Truetrac differential with 3:55 gears. The differential is all painted with the new rear cover installed. As I research, I am finding that it wont fit unless I remove the cover. Please tell me it isn't so. I have seen a video where someone ...
