So, I was going through my Photobucket and found these pics I took with my cell phone. The Utah Cobra Club does a lunch cruise in at Astro Burger as the last hurrah before Winter hits. It's kinda close to work and Burgers are good, but we're all there to see Cobras. Now, some of these are other kits which include the amazing Kirkham Cobras. Enjoy! Nothing like walking out the door at the end of a day and giving your roadster a walk around, hop in, listen to it idle for a minute, and then drive home in a classic.[/B] ...
I have been doing a lot of thinking about building my own car and not driving what someone else has put together. I really want something that has a definite classic style but not a reproduction as I really appreciate and enjoy modern automotive technology:cool: I don't have a lot of fabricaton experience but grewup around automotive shops and did quite a bit of light customizing several years ago. Now I think with someone like Factory Five's help and some good encouragement ...
How to make a Black Widow clone: The highlights are FFR Mk 3.1 (or Mk IV), IRS, Keith Craft 408, Verycoolparts.com stack injection, TKO 600 trans, Ram clutch, 3.08 gears, power steering, Halibrand wheels and stainless steel sidepipes. First thing to do when starting to build a car is to close your eyes and picture your perfect cobra. Pick your color schemes early and stick with them. Limit your under hood colors to 3, makes the engine bay look much cleaner. So the Stewart truck drops off your brand ...
