Things have been quiet on the blog front as I hit the sketchbooks, but finally I have some updates for you.

I got my tail in gear today and wandered over to [URL="http://www.sculpt.com/"]The Compleat Sculptor[/URL] to pick up some clay. I picked up two 1.75lb blocks of "Chavant Y2 Klay".

It was a great 3 day getaway for Becky and I. We stayed as guests at Harrahs' Cherokee. We drove the FFR, gambled a little, and ate like royalty. It was awesome.

I also had to move my mass air meter so I went all out and fabbed up a cold air intake in the fenderwell. I am getting my air from the brake vent and from in front of the front wheel down low. I added a 90mm lightning mass air meter during the upgrade as well.

So, I'm really jealous of these guys who can scuplt, draw and 3D model on CAD systems and editing software. I'm an engineer, but not a design engineer. My brother is really good. We used to draw/sketch cars and airplanes as kids. Well, even though I suck, that hasn't stopped me from trying. I sketched out 3 designs last night. I got my older 2 boys to try some as well. haha

In case my excitement wasn't obvious in last night's post, I'm pretty amp'd up.

Though there were several small fires that had to be put out at work and the usual number of projects that need my attention (usually about 1.5x what I can handle at one time, which is prefect for me), I must confess that I spent a lot of time thinking about [i]this[/i] project. And more than a few minutes following the blog comments and GRM and FF forum posts.

And I think people are missing ...
