I have a '33 Hot Rod kit, #333 (no kidding, go figure) I want to drop in a crate Ford Performance OEM 427 (a 351W stroked to 427), but I'm worried about hood clearance. I just purchased a 2010 Cobra MK3 and I love the car but I have ear problems and the factory pipes cause my ears to ring even louder. Does anyone know if an aftermarket pipe or insert of some type is available to quite the car down some?
The goal for this weekend was to get the motor out of the WRX in order to replace the headgaskets I stupidly blew on my second day of ownership. I failed at that, but made some respectable progress.
