I'm looking for a recommendation on some good flexible stainless braided hoses for my Mk4 Roadster Base Kit. I'm running Cobra 2 piston calipers on the front and regular Mustang '95 discs on the rear. I tried to source Earl's 5 piece kit from summit but doesn't seem to be available any more.

Also wondering if the Wilwood hoses are just specifically designed for Wilwood calipers as they have a product that they say is for the FFR complete kit? Is this what is shipped and if so would ...

  2. Engine Blog: First 302 experience- Heads and a surprize

I forgot to mention one thing that is another added benefit to using the GT40ps. For whatever reason, they have a slightly smaller volume in the chamber from the stock E7s. I have heard different numbers depending on what you read but it is in the range of 58 to 60. there are to our knowledge, at least 7 to 8 Coupes following the path we are involved in.

The next few installments of this blog will be detailed examples of how we constructed the Side Impact Bars for the Salvaggio, Coon, Wickline, and Lopez Coupes.

  4. Dash is done!

It's been awhile since the last update, but not because I was lazy, it was because dash wasn't cooperating with me:) It took me 3 tries to lay nicely carbon fiber sheet that I got from Protech Composites. I had some problems with adhesive...but I knew that eventually I will get the result that I'm looking for.
Here are some pictures from the successful process:
3M adhesive applied to carbon fiber sheet and dash glued to the carbon fiber

  5. I passed 30000 miles on the roadster today.

The milestone happened on my drive to work. Then it rained and then it thunderstormed and then something unexpected happened. I made a video of the happening :)
