  1. Stockpiling Parts

    I've started the process of getting all my aftermarket parts together that I will be adding to the build. My kit wont be ready until August 14th so I should have time to get my ducks in a row.

    Friday my grimmspeed ported intake and knife edged throttle body arrived. they took a lot of material out of the runners so i'm excited to see how it mates up with my TGVs.

    I had hoped they would have taken more (any) material out of the main body of the intake, at least ...

  3. F5R #7790 Finally arrives in Oz

    F5R #7790 has travelled the worlds great oceans to finally arrived in Perth Western Australia. Thanks to Chris at Component Cars for making it happen. Will treat the project like a giant jigsaw - now to find all the edge pieces & corners in those boxes. Photo's are too large to post so will add later

  4. Engine build

    Its been a long while since I have had time to work on the rebuild.
    I've been out of the country for many months, and then got sent home for some R&R. I last left off with cleaning up my used 302 roller and I was all set to put a set of aluminum heads and cam I bough from Fortes.
    Well that was until I started getting more into the cleaning process of the motor, and figured I should just rebuild it completely.
    After all I do have a nice Paxton 10lb blower I want to use. ...

  5. Hello everyone

    I live in Coral Springs Florida (South Florida) and have just ordered my MK4 kit. I attended the build school in Michigan about 2 years ago and figured it was time to pull the trigger. If anyone lives in the South Florida area and wouldn't mind giving an answer to one of the 1,873 questions I will have, it would be greatly appreciated. Or maybe turn a wrench and drink a beer. I have plenty.
    Just realy wanted to say hi.
