  1. Just another garage/yard sale day... till...

    Normal garage sale day, People coming looking over the stuff we had packed into the garage. I had to pull my Mark I out in the driveway as currently my shop is home to a 1970 VW getting a body off rebuild (another story) .

  2. Some Recognition, and Referrals

    I'd like to take the time to thank a few people that made the transaxle acquisition painless, and flawless.

    Driving from Toronto to meet a delivery in Buffalo isn't the easiest task to co-ordinate. Dan at Con-Way Freight, and his driver
    were able to contact me, and arrange the exchange within the hour. They are able to track, and contact their drivers unlike
    some companies I've dealt with. Their services are highly recommended.

  3. She is alive :)

    Finally I was able to start my engine. It sounds really good, much better than on the camera...I love it.
    I have little coolant leak by the thermostat housing, which I will fix today...other than that everything looks good:D

  4. 1st Mod Started

    Working on the 1st mod today. Cleaning and boxing up the Transmission from the donor car. Sending it to Modern Driveline to retrofit the T5 tail housing with an S10 . This will allow the shifter to move forward on the transmission tunnel

  5. Progress (First 48 Hours)

    Delivery went well. Bob, from Stewart Transport was very helpful and we had no problem wheeling the body and chassis up into my rental garage. I pretty much immediately went to work on the inventory. The girlfriend stopped by and assumed the role of box checker while I created a pile of crate paper the size of Jabba the Hut. The backorder list wasn't too bad. The main items missing were the radiator, IRS upper and lower control arms, gas cap, rear springs (which actually arrived the day before ...
