The Dragon and Mountains in Fall 2008

There was a big crowd for the Fall 2008 run on the Dragon. We met at the Fontana Dam to gather up and ride together to the Dragon. Our fellow Roadster and GT40 drivers are a great bunch of people and everyone seemed to be in great spirits on this run. Law enforcement had a huge presence on the mountain this year and it was a speed limit, 35MPH, drive on the Dragon. Safer - sure, as much fun - probably not for me.

[B]Becky drove the Parkway out of Cherokee on the way home. She does a great job and her shifting is getting better and better.[/B]

[B]Action shot from the Parkway. This is about as hectic as the Blue Ridge Parkway is on the Cherokee end.[/B]
