Engine build

Its been a long while since I have had time to work on the rebuild.
I've been out of the country for many months, and then got sent home for some R&R. I last left off with cleaning up my used 302 roller and I was all set to put a set of aluminum heads and cam I bough from Fortes.
Well that was until I started getting more into the cleaning process of the motor, and figured I should just rebuild it completely.
After all I do have a nice Paxton 10lb blower I want to use.
But time is not on my side. Most likely I am going to be sent overseas again for months, yada yada yada. One of my buddies suggested buying a short block to speed up the process, and save my block for a later date.
Not a bad idea.
After looking around and speaking with some friends who have knowledge I have ordered a short block from Coast High Performance [www.coasthigh.com]
I generally like to buy most things from the vendors, but sometimes I stray.
I'm going with a 331 stroker. They take the 302 block and notch the cylinders for clearance. The rotating assembly is going to be forged.
And since we are going boosted, were using reverse dome pistons to drop the compression down to 9:1.
This should be a great match for the heads, cam, and blower.
Ill post the specs on the engine.
