Hi guys i live in miami so heat is an issue. Any suggestions on the ventilation system also is there a blower inline. And is there a way to close off the air in the event you don't want it and does any one sell a system already made.

Cobra Earl has a system with an inline fan. Pulls air from the brake cooler openings. Not sure about an on/off vent. Here's the link http://www.cobraearl.com/products/#TFB

X2. I ended up building my own, but inspired by Cobra Earl's kit. Inline marine bilge blowers from West Marine, silicone brake ventilation hose from JEGs, and blast gates from Rockler Hardware. The blast gates (designed for shutting off vacuum lines in a dust collection system) do a good job of blocking off the air flow in the winter. For now, the air intakes are in the wheel wells, but I purchased adapters from someone (probably Finish Line, don't recall) to attach the hose intake to the brake cooling ducts in the nose.

The bilge blowers are loud enough to hear over the engine when idling or cruising at low speeds, but not noticeable on the highway. I like to think people mistake them for supercharger whine...

1x 11ft x 3-inch silicon flexible brake duct (http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performance-Products/555/63100/10002/-1)

Of course, you'll also need hose clamps, 2 relays (the blowers draw a lot of power), and 2 dash switches to turn the fans on & off.

On the passenger side, I mounted the blast gate in the top of the passenger footbox. This allows the passenger to open/close the gate while seated in the car. On the driver's side, the blast gate is mounted on the outside of the footbox, at the top near where FFR intended for the cable bundle to enter. It can only be opened/closed from the engine bay, but in most cases you know before you start out whether you'll want cool air or not.

This is the best picture I have readily available of my setup:

I built my own cold air foot box cooling system, that is quite a bit different than any others. It works excellent.
I used a 4 speed, squirrel cage fan blower unit, mounted in the upper trunk area, which pumps air via hoses up to the foot box's. There is a cable controlled blast gate to control the intake, so I can shut it completely off in the winter.
I built a box to cover the blower unit.

I have aluminum vents mounted on both inner foot box aluminum, seen here as a black spot , as I painted them to match the carpet.

The intake is via a Daytona Coupe scoop, mounted backwards between the roll bars, with a screened duct under it. Nice thing about this location is your not sucking in exhaust fumes, road dust, or hot air off the blacktop.
