I know this is a heavily debated topic, and I've read tons of posts debating it. My decision for my car is to switch to Tilton.
As an aside, I just tore out the one FFR steel front brake line that I installed and replaced it with Nicopp. Ran both front lines and the end result, which I'll post to my build thread, came out really nice. But, I'll be tearing it out as well because I've come up with different routing when I install the Tiltons. I'm fine with that though. Been enjoying the tubing work in spite of using up a full 25ft roll just for the front:).
I've been shopping the various online fitting sources to come out of the Tilton MS and get to 3/16 flare. I wanted an elbow, 3AN x 3/8-24 female inv flare. I can't seem to find it. I've got 40+ years of piping design experience but all big stuff for HVAC and utility plants. So, I'm not sure if the fittings I want don't exist, or I'm not reading the designations properly. As close as I've come to figuring this out is a 3AN x 3/16 inv flare female straight adapter, like used at the F-panel, but I'd really like an elbow.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Pat
