I'm in the process of building a Mark IV picked up in May 2021. I'm just starting with the body work and have a question about delamination issue that I'm not sure how to handle. I cut the hole for the hood scoop and realized I have an issue. 191697191698191699
In 2 of the pictures you can see the dark line on the remaining hood. That is a space between the top and bottom layers, and I can squeeze it with my fingers. In the other picture is the piece I cut out, it pulled apart easily only sticking together where the black magic marker is. (Rt side only.)
My question is what is the best way to fix this? Try to fill the voids with resin or with some sort of kitty hair? Should I think about trying to get another hood from FFR?
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your time.
