I have the electric ultra-lite gauge set from FF. Everything is connected ( 2 wire connection)on the water temp sensor but no readout ?
The oil temp has 3 wires on the sensor but the gage set only has 2 wires in the forward wire harness.
Do I have the wrong sensors

I don't think you have the wrong sensors. You do need to make sure your sensors have metal to metal contact for the ground. If you use too much thread sealant, they won't work because of the lack of ground. I recommend using thread sealant after the first few threads so you get that good ground.

Did not use any sealant. All the gages light up and the volt meter registers the voltage. Any other suggestions?

Had the same problem. Test the water temp sensor by putting it in a boiling pot of water and seeing if the gauge goes up. If it does, your system is probably fine and is likely just an air bubble in the system or insufficient coolant levels causing it.

Just verifying that you let the motor run long enough to have elevated oil pressure and water temperature? I thought my oil temp gauge wasn't working at all but once I was able to run it for over 10 minutes, it started to register.

Try grounding the sender wire, and see if the gauge jumps at all. Oil temps may take quite awhile before you see the needle move. Depends on what temp the gauge starts at.
I think my oil temp sender only has one wire leading to it. Your has three?
