Anybody read this book? Inside Shelby American: Wrenching and Racing With Carroll Shelby in the 1960s by John Morton?

Saw an article about it this morning online and wondering if it's worth reading. Amazon has the paperback for 23 bucks; my public library does not have it. Or, maybe somebody has a copy they'd loan or pass on?

Haven't read it (actually didn't know it existed) but Morton was a featured speaker at the Saturday evening gathering at the London Cobra Show a few years ago. He was very interesting, entertaining and colorful, to say the least! The stories during the dinner were slightly (only slightly ;) ) censored---he joined a group of us later in the evening for "refreshments" and turned off his filter. That's when things got really entertaining! If his written words are anything like his spoken words I bet the book is a good read. I may have to get a copy!

Yes - good read. I got it back when it was first published and I hear it's getting harder to find / more expensive.

Check out the Motorsport Collector in Downers Grove - my wife goes there for birthday and Christmas gifts for me and they always have a great selection of Shelby books and other things.
