I just installed an Arctangent oil control plate and Killer B oil pan and pickup. The oil pan hangs about 3/4" below the chassis rails which is very concerning.

I have speed bumps on the road to my house. My muscle memory is to drive one side of the car over the bump while the other side stays on the flat road. When I did that with my 818, the edge of the bump scrapped down the center of the car. Now I have this Killer B pan hanging low and if I go into autopilot and forget to drive all 4 wheels over the bump, there's more than a fair chance the pan is going to rub the edge of the speed bump. Or going off track, one wheel on pavement, the other in the dirt with a curb in between.

What are you doing to protect a low hanging Killer B pan? I've got a cage design imagined in my head, but I'm also thinking about keeping the Arctangent plate and Killer B pick up, but going back to the OEM pan because the risk of it being too low is not worth the benefits over the OEM pan.

Dave, I cut off the original engine mounts and replaced them with 1.25” taller mounts. But I’m not running your setup. Lots of guys lower the rear of the trans but this is for oil return. Lifting the front of the motor would help reduce some oiling anomalies while simultaneously solving your oil pan clearance problem.
Off the subject somewhat, I chose to use solid shift linkages to my trans so lifting the front of my engine allowed for enough clearance to accommodate my shifter rods below the drivers side mount.

Interesting... Do you have a picture you could share?

Dave, I made mine. You can make a template by laying poster board on your original mounts, then trace around. When you get the profile, just add 1.25” to the bottom edges.
