Having Trouble Aligning The Motor Mounts

I have tried to seat the engine and can get the front motor mounts in to the frame of the 818 but the motor mount on the transmission does not seat to the holes. About an inch off. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Suggestions and ideas would be greatly appreciated. Engine is an EJ25.

Unfortunately no pics. Will take when I try it again. I can get the two transmission mounts in and the passenger side in or the drivers side and passenger side but not the transmission. Did you have any issue with fitting or the holes? I am assuming it was jig crafted and so all the same.

Any help would be appreciated. When I try again this afternoon, I will take pictures.

If these brackets are installed backward, it will move the engine and transmission back about an inch.
I'm not sure if you can even mount the brackets backward

Only one way to install the motor mounts. I tried it again with putting the transmission mounts in first and the front two aligned better and it went right in. I also used a winch or “go to” to lower the engine on a better angle. Thank you all for your replies.
