View Full Version : Retro Fir Rear Hatch Finally Arrived
It is almost like snatching victory out of the jaws of defeat. I almost gave up the whole project when I seemed to get nowhere with the build. Thanks to everyone at FFR and the forum and the blogs it is starting to make a little sense and I will go on from here and see what I can do. I still have a lot of questions but that's to come in the future

The fit is not perfect. Some spots are very tight and some seem loose.
I have as yet begun the task of making it fit so I cant say if it is worth the trouble or not.

I have a black body.
I placed the glass on the rear opening and I was very pleased. I'll have to take a little material off the side edges (maybe just one side) but compared with some of the other stuff I had to do (front clip, doors) I think it should be pretty easy. The rear glass itself is beautiful and I can't wait to install it. It will make the car look that much more complete.
