Coolant hose kinked, hard pipe it?

Howdy all--

Got my car back up and running after a year or two off, and the hose going from the top of the engine(from the hard "piping" under the intake manifold) is kinked, and got the engine a little warm.

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on this hose. Could buy a replacement (not sure what it was originally, but that diameter and 80-90* looks like it'll work), or hard pipe it (with short sections of rubber on either side to allow for movement)? Would be a more robust corner, but one more set of unions.

Any thoughts are super welcome.

I have a silicone 90 right out of the manifold, that goes into A hard pipe running along the top of the firewall to the corner, then another silicon 90 that turns down along the edge. No where to kink, the silicon 90s are pretty stout.

I used left over flex tube from the FFR kit to make the hard sections, it’s not flexible when it’s that short. I got silicon 90s from eBay. One 1.5” x 1.75” to connect the manifold to the tube, and one 1.75” x 1.75” to connect the horizontal and vertical pieces of flex tube.

Awesome. I measured it as 1.5 and 1.625, but I'm sure I can make the 1.75 work with the FFR flexible hose. I love that hose for this kind of use.
