Building 818C, no donor!
Need your thoughts on specific engine and transmission?
Also your thoughts on Radiator?

My "kit" came with an ebay (Mishimoto copy?) aluminum radiator. Normally I would not have even looked at them, but it's actually a nice part, it fits, and works well.
re. engine I'm sold on the H6 (EZ30)- STI power w/o a turbo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7ypE93XYiY).
Like you I wanted to go driving, and stayed with the 5MT. The 6MT does look interesting but I've not studied the pro's of the change.

If you want to go driving as soon as possible find a 2002 with a 5MT. Least customization, no immobilizers to worry about, easiest to follow the manual on.
