Coupe roof scoop?

Has anyone run the roof scoop to there intake? I was thinking of doing this but need to know what they are doing for a filter? Does it run to a box first. Also what else is every one running the ducts too? I have AWIC so dont need it for that.

I was looking to run one down to the top of the fuel tank/panel for my ECU mount. Just to run cool air down around some of the electrical.

I have both ducts running to a box on the passenger side with an 8” inclosed filter. I have Wayne’s intercooler setup and speed density tune. Removing the MAF sensor made enough room.

given the location of the stock ECU, under the carpeting, I wouldn't believe there is need for air cooling.

but mine is on a panel above the gas tank that is all open to the engine bay heat. cooler should be better.
