I need a very basic and I mean Basic, wiring diagram for my car. What is the power path and what are the fuse and relay requirements. If I can pay for a My Car Specific diagram I will but I'm hoping for the generosity of someone who has the time and wants to help. I have the dash harness in place and the Megasquirt computer is connected to the engine. I need to know how to go from the battery to everything.

What about 5v?
Does 12v go from the ignition switch then to a resister that sends 5v to the switches and then everything that needs 12v has to go through a relay?
Does 12v go from the ignition switch to the fuse panel and relays?
Does 12v go to the gauges for sensor power or is that 5v? With 12v, when I start the engine the oil pressure goes right to 100psi

If you respond, please use baby talk as I don't speak Electric.

The following is what I need to power.

Equipment

Starter
Solenoid
Fuse Panel Main Fuses?
Relays
Megasquirt ECU
Resister to 5V?

Switches

Ignition
Fuel Pump
Gauge Lights
Coolant Fan
Momentary Starter
In Line Brake switch
Strobe Light
Ground Kill Switch

VDO Gauges

Tachometer
Water Temp
Oil Temp
Oil Pressure
Volt
Clock

Thanks, Jack

I can send you a couple of simple chassis diagrams if you're interested and then if you need help, we can go from there. You have some redundant items in your list that can be consolidated. Not sure why you want a 5v circuit. Bottom line would be what are you intending on running with a relay and then go from there on what/how to wire them and what they'll power.

Thanks for getting back to me. You have to keep in mind I know Nothing, OK, very little about wiring and What I need. I have it wired now with everything working, except the brake lights for some reason, but I want to make it better. I'm going to sell this car as a 1971 "Race Car" replica that can be driven the way it is or they can "Restore" it and make it better. You can e-mail me at JackN2469E@sbcglobal.net You can see my videos and read my comments at my YouTube channel. JB91710. Click on Videos at the top of the page.

Bob was generous enough to share some of his work and simplified wiring diagrams with me here....

Maybe have a look and see if you can find what you need.

Usually, 5v comes from the computer for sensors that use the 5v for feed back to the computer. I assume if the MS gets 12v you will have the 5v out of it?
