Since the Ford Performance M6007-X302B is no longer available, I am considering building up a DART 347 SHP. It has most of the stuff a M6007-X302B has except the forged crank. I'm considering the DART top end kit also. So for about $7000 I would have almost the same thing. I am wonderiing if anyone has gone here before. Any comments are appreciated.

My suggestion is look into Blueprints 347. I have used 2 in kits I have built and they are hard to beat for bang for the buck, IMO.

I did a build with the DART 347 block, and I've seen others mention it as well. Although I had it built with a Scat forged crank and rods. I suspect you're asking about the assembly DART is selling like this one: http://dartheads.com/dart-product/shp-short-blocks-sbf/? With a cast crank? Unless you're going crazy with power, would still be a very stout setup. I used AFR heads, but I've heard good things about the DART heads. I have a lot of respect for any of their products. First class and you wouldn't go wrong.
