Effects of a drastically increased rear track width?

I'm doing research for an 818C EV using a Tesla Model S motor. I know that has been done before, but all the prior examples use the stock/expected suspension. One option I am interested in is using the full rear "subclip" which means everything from one wheel to the other - axles arms, motor, etc. The specific product listing is here: http://store.evtv.me/proddetail.php?prod=TeslaFullSubclip

I'm sure there are issues that I'll run into, but my main question right now is about the rear track width. The 818 (per Road and Track) has a rear track width of 59.0" while the Model S has a rear track width of 66.9″. 7.9 inches seems to be a significant difference to me. Aside from the wheels sticking about 4" out from the fenders (given the same wheels between the two), are there any ill effects you would expect from this?

As far as the rear track width, wheel off set and fender flares should be all you need.
I'd like to see what Bob and Cindy and Wallace have to say since they are the ones who have the experience with EV .

I am also looking at EVWest and their offerings. The kit they have premade for the 818 includes a motor and controller that is less than what I want. They also have their own version of a Model S Motor Kit http://www.evwest.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=8&products_id=476 but their system seems much less refined, although it is much cheaper. The EVWest $12k kit is mostly equivalent to EVTV’s $17k kit http://store.evtv.me/proddetail.php?prod=TeslaDriveUnit except that the EVTV kit includes the Quaife LSD preinstalled ($2000 if bought from EVTV, $3000 if bought from EVWest), and still seems to be a more refined control system. Compare the touchscreen UI as well as the fact that EVWest includes custom gauges and physical button controls.

My first choice is whether or not I want (and can even use) the full subclip option. It is appealing because it includes the electronic parking brake and the axles. If I choose against the full subclip then I have to choose between the EVTV and EVWest kits.

I’m also looking forward to input from Bob&Cindy and Wallace as I have enjoyed their threads so far. They might skip over this thread based on the title though.

Have you considered that increasing the rear track might induce more grip or in this situation understeer. You should be able to adjust camber front and rear to find a balance.
