I know I still owe interior pics and I'm working to coordinate that. The original interior pics we got at the reveal party just don't showcase the car the way we would like, so we are not going to publish the official interior pics until we are happy with them. The suitcase full of lenses my photographer brought all the way from Jacksonville (4 hr drive one way for one night) were all low light evening type stuff as this was an evening event.

As can be expected, since receiving delivery of GTM 501, it's been quite the whirlwind of events on my side. This car is beyond incredible and the attention it commands anywhere it goes is phenomenal!!! We all know the GTM gets attention out in public, but this has to be something different than what the typical GTM owner may experience.

In order to develop new interests in life, I'm shifting the majority of my posting to other Social Media accounts. I will always be checking in here as this is where my GTM came to life over the last 8 years of my life and I love sharing my experience with those still in the build journey. See, that's what made this possible, a small community of people I had never met in life came together to help me build my dream. I will always give back!!!

I will write a more sentimental and meaningful "Final Post" soon.

Bit of a photo dump from this last weekends GTM 501 Show Car Debut. Was up at 3:30 to finish all the last systems checks, pack my food for the day, load cameras, car care products, and I even came up with an emergency rain kit. I'm glad I did because if the rain rolled in, there's no way you are getting out of this show as we are packed in that place so tight to fit as many cars as possible.

Departed for the hour and a half drive about 7:00, so the neighborhood woke up with me LOL. Stopped half way for a coffee and checks as I allotted 30 minutes for this. Arriving at Hard Rock I was a bit early and they started to stage outside the event. Once open we marshaled in and as you can imagine the morning was filled with any and every super car you can imagine rolling in with engines screaming!!! Those that signed up for the Fun Run after the show, including myself were staged so we can marshal out easier. I was with these guys.

Once set the next 2 hrs flew by faster than I wanted as it was just a whirlwind of excitement all aound the GTM. People literally told me, they saw me roll in and they came running across the entire show, just to see it. Passing every Lambo, Porsche, whatever can you think of, just to scope out the GTM!!!!!

As the show winded down, we staged to do the Fun Run and OMG, there is nothing like ripping around town and then on the interstate to some VERY spirited speeds LOL with 30+ Super and Hyper Cars. Unbelievable!!!!

My run was cut a bit short by a high oil temp warning in the MoTeC that bumped me down to Limp mode (2K RPM limit). I stopped briefly under an overpass and all systems were good (pressures and temps) and it seemed odd this came up. I was able to limp to the Resturant we were at, had a water and then looked at the radar for weather as I had at least an hour and a half to get home. I decided it was time to pull the plug and beat the storms home. Next time I'll stay and have lunch with this new group :cool:!!!!

As soon as I got home and unloaded, it was systems check time. First up was the Warning in my tune. Yup, sure enough it was set to like 235 deg F mistakenly. I love these kinds of issues. Err on the safe side and a couple key strokes and now were set to 275. I'll also do some data logging next time we are our running :cool:!!!! Next couple hours I methodically checked torque on lugs, all fluids, all catch cans, charge battery, .... and just really looked things over to document any other concerns.

For her first show, we picked up all kinds of Followers and everyone had a blast, especially myself.
