What Automatic Transmission Modifications are Needed

Hello All,

I'm finally starting my trek into the 818s. My first step was being fortunate enough to attend the build school in MI. What a great experience. The second step was ordering a pallet of wrx parts from Wayne Presley at Very Cool Parts. What a great guy to deal with.

I requested an automatic transmission from him and was wondering if anyone has a definitive guide as to what modifications are needed to the trans. I know the build in HI uses an automatic but I don't think I see in there everything that needs to be done.

So my question is has anyone else done this with first hand experience. Or does anyone know what needs to be done.

My plan is to get my parts ready as much as I can over the next few months, and order my kit early next year.

Waiting on an oil seal and cooling tubes that go to the oil cooler from the trans.
