engine removed

I removed my old 351 out of a MK3 in about 3 hours and now just waiting for the time to install a levy racing stage 4 347. Great weekend so far. Was able to put the car on a 4 post lift and take the engine out of the passenger side of the car. very easy.

Please give me more details about the removal process. I'm going to be doing the same thing later this year.

I put the car on a 4 post lift and raised it up enough to put an engine hoist under from the passenger side. I saw some people just put the car on jack stands removed one of the front wheels so they could take it out the side. My hoist is not long enough to go straight in. Besides disconnecting everything the motor was out in under two hours. I got the idea from a previous post when i asked how other people had tried it. I did not take the trans out with the motor so i will find find out when i put the new engine in if that made my life easier or harder.
