Anyone else had trouble stopping coolant leaks on their connections to the side pipes and at the pump? Tried about everything, and still get a slow drip sometimes

Constant tension spring hose clamps (like this style https://www.amazon.com/Constant-Tension-Band-Hose-Clamps/dp/B0040CRUWK) work much better on coolant lines than worm drive clamps. If using worm drive clamps, you'll need to snug them up a bit after heat-cycling the engine a few times, and then possibly additional times in the future to prevent leaks.

The other thing is the rubber couplers and adapters FFR provides. I didn't like them. Instead I just bought a couple extra upper radiator hoses and cut them up so I had some straight sections to use as couplers. I used these to connect the flexible heater pipe to the solid heater pipe, and to the water pump. I have not had a single coolant leak.

Good advice. Thanks
