Hi Guys,

Which JDM or US market 6 speed "Puller" transmissions can be adapted to use in the 818? In other words, the industry has an adapter to convert it to front wheel drive, it has limited slip or positraction and there is a shift linkage for it.

Here is a list of Pullers I have accumulated.

TY856WB7KA
6

TY856WB1CA N/DCCD
TY856UW1MA
Ty856WB3KA DCCD

Thanks,

Jack

I am wondering the same thing? Will a 2008+ work? I jsut don't know if the DCCD is the same in the 08+ version so the adapter would also work in it? I'd love to know.

I'm looking to possibly use a 2005 STI 6 speed trans, but I'm not sure that the New Zealand company that used to offer adapters for it still does. Has anyone else done a recent STI trans? Seems like most have considered it to be not worth the hassle/costs.

the 08 and newer transmissions do not have a VSS output.

Nope - but there are a couple of options VSSPro from DCCDPro or MapDCCD wheel speed sensor. Ran into this with my '14 wrx transmission - I'll be using MapDCCD when the time comes.
