I was perusing Facebook last night and came across a dual-core AWIC built into a custom intake manifold, replete with ventures, that is currently being built and tested by Moore Performance and Carbotech. It gave me insta-wood, it's gorgeous and removes a lot of bulk and simplifies the cooling process....it's f***ing brilliant!

I saw it on FB last night. It looks interesting. I'm concerned about the fact that there are two different heat exchangers in the manifold, each with it's own water inlet and outlet. You are going to have to be sure you get the same coolant flow through each side or you'll end up with differences in intake temps for each bank of cylinders which would not be good. Also, the total heat exchanger area looks somewhat small, but it's tough to know how much area it actually is from the pics along.

The idea is very cool, and it looks trick. I bet it is going to be insane expensive though. From a dollar/performance standpoint, I think a standard AWIC is going to have it beat easily.

It's an interesting rendering for sure.

I doubt there's room under our frame members for that.

I don't know if the new rendering will fit - but Dale told me earlier that his OG proof of concept was sold to a gentlemen with an 818. This was right after he told me I have to get one for my project... he seems to think it will fit.

It is an interesting concept. Will be curious to see how it develops.
