Hi everyone, I'm been fighting with headlights for a few hours and can't get the headlight into the bucket that doesn't look like garbage. I know the design causes horrible headlight fitment problems but some people have overcome the bad design and poor panel quality to make decent fitment. Unfortunately, I know others have chosen the 1200 dollar fee to get the better fitting front end...

So my question, is what has people done to the headlights into the buckets? My headlight doesn't even fit in the bucket satisfactory as the curvature is off.

Lip of bucket doesn't meet well with the nose or head light

Headlight rear doesn't follow body or bucket resulting in gap.

Gap between nose and bucket

Does anyone have any advice for me?
Thanks cf

Hey Craigfree.
Check out my video. Some have used it as a guide.
I'm sure most have more than 8 hour into getting the head lights to fit.

There will be gaps between the lense and the fender. The headlight won't fit excellently in the bucket but it will fit. Rotate the light back as far as you can (IE aim it upwards as much as possible). You will also need to pull the fender down with a bracket that attaches it to the nose. Lastly, it helps a lot if you add some brackets to the inside of the bumper to prop the headlight upwards. Check my build thread and you'll see exactly how I did it. I'm very happy with the results.

All I can say is thanks. I haven't tried it yet, but your methodology is way better.
