Can anybody comment on the feasibility of using the twin turbo EJ208 engine? Tuneability, fitment?

Fitment shouldn't be an issue - wiring and tuning might be challenging if you're in the US.

From what I recall, they're more of a novelty item rather than a true performance item compared to today's EJ motors with modern turbos.

Blitz japan built a twin turbo Sti a while back in 2005, made about 520whp... the piping was crazy, it was crowded up front, but made decent power... now that's cake with a single modern turbo.
Seems like a lot of work for the novelty of it.

When I was trying to pick the engine I wanted to get a TT EJ sounded awesome! Once you read though I found really no support for them. They aren't a very powerful platform and aren't built to be a high performance motor like a STI motor is built from the factory. Twin turbo is awesome idea however even some of the big power supras and such end up going to a more efficient single turbo for more power/ faster spool.

Thanks. I saw one on eBay with transmission for $1500.

I am using one but it's a pain, especially when the engine comes incomplete (sensor, vacuum box, wire harness), should I know what I know now, I wouldn't bought the engine but I got it cheap. I will probably go the single turbo route as well sometime down the road.
