My 2006 WRX donor has the clutch master cylinder shown below.
The good point is the remote reservoir, the bad is the amount of clutter.

60311
The master cylinder has 2 piping connections, one supply, and another return?
60312
I'm wondering how much of the piping I can get rid of
Has anyone simplified this arrangement?

Tim,

I'm guessing that's some sort of anti fail device. I would steal the remote reservoir off that and ditch the rest for a single outlet master.

Might be simpler that way.

After the image did not look like other I have seen, I did some research. From what I was able to find, the part(s) look like it might have come from an earlier model [http://www.jp-carparts.com/subaru/part_detail.php?maker=subaru&car_baseid=F14000&type=G11&cartype=023&fig_id=375&part_id=37230%20%20&part_code=37230FE000] and from a Japanese import. There is a part identified as "A", but could not find a description of what the part is for.

Do you have any idea of what the size [Inside Diameter] is of the master cylinder?
