After you shared this, found the link to the part. I've been Mia for a while and remember several discussions of cutting the case, but I hadn't seen this one piece solution yet. Could have missed it if it came up.

I like the idea of more clearance behind the transmission. What do you have in mind for the sifter cables? Where and how would you mount everything as the unused threaded connections have been removed?

I have no shaft out the back of the transmission.
